SNOW!
For once we got a real snowstorm in Northern Virginia. 12+ inches of snow
fell while I was out of town on a trip, but I made it back before it melted
and this is what I found. It turned out to be the ONLY snowstorm all
winter, though |

Naturally, a snowman was in order. Ciára had fun packing the snowman
together, and it lasted for almost a week. |

We were also able to go to a nearby small hill and let Ciára try out her
sled. She soon figured out how to pull the sled up the hill again and only
required her dad to give her a small push to get her going - a good thing
since it was a long walk through deep snow to get there and home again |

When the weather warmed a little, we took an airplane ride to Easton, PA,
to visit the Crayola Factory, a tourist center with lots of things to do,
including a demonstration of how Crayons are made. Here Ciára visits a
model train, part of the National Canal Museum in the same building |

The Crayola Factory was very crowded on a Saturday (next time we're going
midweek), and Ciára took a break to draw on the sidewalk. She brought home
a bag of goodies, as well as a cold that gave her a rash. She was kind
enough to share the cold with her Dad. |

Mom found a pair of "princess dresses" in pink and purple so that Ciára
and her friend Melanie could play dress-up. Here Ciára shows off the purple
dress. |
