Summer and Fall 2004

Ciára in NH on a hike.

After a hike to the top of Hawkbill mountain in Virginia - she's kind of heavy now!

Her first time walking around out of doors - she was funny!

She always likes breakfast.

Our Summer Vacation

Ciára has a new wagon.  It was a hard choice to make between a traditional wooden-sided one and this larger plastic model (with cup holders no less), but the built in cooler compartment she's sitting on made the difference - it's more than a mile to our park.

Ciára loves our nearby park, and we love it because it tires her out.  She's gotten big enough (16 months now) that she just charges up the steps and goes down the smaller slides with no hesitation.

Somewhere along the line she's decided that stealing her dad's hat is a very fun game.  Note the Red Sox Hat - Ciára got to watch history being made as the Sox won the world series.  I hope she'll see it happen again in her lifetime.

We recently took Ciára to a fountain in a nearby shopping center.  Water shoots up from holes in the concrete at random, and the kids love to run around and try to get wet or avoid getting wet.  Ciára loves it and always throws a tantrum when it's time to go.  Hires video (6 MB) is available.

Ciára just got a bunch of clothes from her Gran and Farmor, and would not let go of this dress

Ciára loves the same restaurant as her Dad - Joe's Pizza in Fairfax.  She just learned about spaghetti, and her Italian heritage comes through!

It's Halloween, and Ciára's anxious to hop to it!

She's making up her mind whether she likes peanut butter or not.  Eventually, the verdict was "Mmm!"

Ciára is all dressed up and heading out for Thanksgiving.  She really looks like her Grandmother Anne in this picture

She's enjoying her dinner (chicken supplemented with turkey, etc. from Mom and Dad), and really liking the chopstick.

Feeling full after eating, Ciára assumes the Turkey Slouch.

Dessert was ice cream, one of her very favorites!
